Our Story

Made by a fabricator.
For fabricators.

My name is Dennis. I'm a structural mechanic and fabricator who started creating metal artwork in my spare time — sunflowers, roses, garden stakes — the kind of stuff that takes a plasma table, a welder, a torch, and a lot of patience to get right.

After sharing some of my designs with other makers, I kept getting the same feedback: "The files from other sellers don't work — the parts don't line up, there's no documentation, and I have no idea what gauge steel to use."

So I started Kraken CNC. Every single file I sell has been cut on a real plasma table, formed with a torch, and welded into a finished piece in my own shop. If a part doesn't line up, I fix it before I sell it. If a design needs a specific forming technique, I document it.

This isn't a store full of CAD templates generated from a script. It's a collection of real projects, built by someone who does this work — available as digital files so you can build them too.

Our Values

What we stand for

01
Shop-tested first
Every design is cut, formed, and welded before it's offered for sale. If it doesn't work in the real world, it doesn't ship.
02
Documentation that actually helps
Material gauges, hardware sources, forming techniques, assembly order. The kind of notes you'd want from a fellow fabricator.
03
Fair licensing
Buy the file, use it for personal projects, sell finished pieces you make from it. We just ask that you don't resell the digital files themselves.
04
No location, no frills
Kraken CNC is a fully digital operation — no storefront, no brick-and-mortar overhead. That keeps costs low and files available worldwide.
