DXF is an industry-standard format supported by virtually all CAM software. This includes SheetCAM, Fusion 360, Langmuir Systems FireControl, Hypertherm ProNest, LightBurn, PlasmaCam, and many others. Most software will open the file directly — no conversion needed.
SendCutSend accepts DXF files directly. Upload your file, select your material and thickness, and they'll cut and ship the parts to you. It's a great option for one-off projects or if you're just starting out.
Yes. Every Kraken CNC license covers personal use and selling finished fabricated pieces. Make it, sell it, keep the money. The only restriction is reselling the digital files themselves — please don't redistribute, re-sell, or share the DXF/SVG files.
Every package includes DXF files (the primary format for CAM/plasma software) and SVG files (useful for laser cutters, design software, and preview purposes). A README text file with material specs and assembly notes is also included.
Most designs are intended for 16 gauge (0.060") sheet steel, which is a good balance of weight, formability, and outdoor durability. Some designs may call for 14 gauge for heavier-duty applications — the README in each package will specify the gauge used in the original build.
Yes. The DXF files are saved in a widely compatible format (AutoCAD 2010 DXF). If you run into any import issues, email us and we can provide an alternative version or help troubleshoot.
Because these are digital downloads that are delivered instantly, we do not offer refunds once a file has been downloaded. However, if a file has a defect or error, we will fix it immediately or issue a full refund at our discretion. Please reach out — we stand behind our work.
Possibly. Custom design availability depends on current workload. Send an email to krakendigitalllc@gmail.com with a description of what you're looking for and we'll let you know if it's something we can take on.
No account is required. Checkout is handled via Stripe — you'll enter your payment details on Stripe's secure page and receive a download link immediately after payment is confirmed.
You receive a single ZIP file containing: all DXF parts for the design, matching SVG versions, and a README text file with material recommendations, hardware notes, and assembly instructions.
